The SHPE 2020 Cybersecurity Challenge will be held on October 24th, 2020 from 11am EST (8am PST) to 8pm EST (5pm PST).
This one-day event consists of a virtual "capture the flag" challenge competition where you, along other paritcipants around the country, will compete in teams to complete a series of interactive challenges within the shortest amount of time. Mentors, workshops, and networking events will allow you to build your network, improve your skills, and win cash prizes!
The competition will be hosted via DevPost (shpe-20-cyber-security.devpost.com). All communications, updates and announcements starting one week prior to the SHPE 2020 Cybersecurity Challenge will be published via this platform.
Network with professionals and get a chance to build your resume by participating in this competition.
The top three teams with the highest overall score will receive a monetary award. Amounts are per team basis, it will be divided equally between team all team members. See rules for more details on the scoring system.

All competitors wanting to register for the SHPE 2020 Cybersecurity Challenge must:
First be registered to attend the 2020 SHPE National Convention.
Have an active account on Devpost.com and on CTFd (both are available free of charge) by 3:00pm EST on October 23rd, 2020.
There are no other pre-requisites to be a part of this year’s Cybersecurity Challenge! Although beneficial, competitors are not required to have prior knowledge in cybersecurity, or be enrolled or active in a cybersecurity-related field of work.
